When installing your OGO™ ORIGIN Compost Toilet, knowing exactly where the vent and power jack are located can save time and prevent frustration. Whether you're building a slide-out drawer, fitting into cabinetry, or mounting in a tight space, this guide gives you the clear answers you need to plan your cutouts and cable routing accurately. --- ![origin Side orientation\_ power\_jack](https://learn.ogotoilet.com/hs-fs/hubfs/origin%20Side%20orientation_%20power_jack.png?width=688&height=413&name=origin%20Side%20orientation_%20power_jack.png) --- ### Vent Location and Flexibility By default, the OGO™ ORIGIN vent connection is located in the **back right corner** of the unit. - The vent sits approximately **13 inches from the floor** to the center of the T-bar hose connection. - It is **fully swiveling**, allowing you to route the hose directly back, to the side, or anywhere in between based on your build. - The vent hose fits snugly over a **1-1/4 inch PVC pipe**, thanks to the included 3-foot wire-reinforced hose with rubber ends. If needed, the **vent insert can be swapped to the left side** of the unit. This is ideal for drawer systems, left-hand wall access, or compact van and schoolie layouts.
