Built for Rugged Roads — Proven in Australia The OGO™ Bucket Collar was developed to meet the demands of some of the roughest terrain in the world: Australia's outback.
After rigorous real-world testing on severely bumpy, remote roads, we created the Bucket Collar to solve two major challenges for mobile compost toilet users:
-
Stopping compost medium overflow during bin agitation (especially when toilet paper builds up).
-
Preventing the solids bin from popping up when traveling across rough, uneven, or off-road environments.

What the Bucket Collar Solves
1. Overflow Protection:
During stirring, a full solids bin — particularly one with lots of paper — tends to overflow at the stir rod area. The Bucket Collar shields against spills by reinforcing the critical front edge of the bin.
2. Travel Stability:
Without reinforcement, a solids bin can lift or shift during extreme vehicle motion. The Bucket Collar, combined with retaining clips, dramatically stabilizes the bin and minimizes unwanted movement.
How to Install the OGO™ Bucket Collar
Step 1: Prepare the Solids Bin
-
Rotate the stir rod so that it’s positioned at the front of the solids bin.
(This is the first area where overflow typically occurs.)
Step 2: Fit the Bucket Collar
-
Slide the Bucket Collar into place at the front of the solids bin.
-
Make sure the collar is seated between the side ribs of the toilet shell for a secure fit.
Step 3: Install the Retaining Clips
-
Position the retaining clips above the Bucket Collar.
-
The clips act as a stop, securing the bin firmly and reducing vertical movement on bumpy roads.

Tips for Best Performance
