Plug-in power made simple. The OGO™ ORIGIN Pro Series Internal Battery Kit was designed for users who want a streamlined, wire-free installation.
What’s Included
-
12V 10Ah LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery
-
Internal mounting bracket
-
Pre-terminated power pigtail (red and black wires)
-
Internal power jack with two mounting screws
-
Multi-mode smart charger (NOCO GENIUS 2D)
Installation Overview
1. Mount the Battery
Open the toilet base to access the internal compartment. Insert the supplied plastic battery holder into the rear corner of the base—lower first. This bracket holds the battery snugly and securely.
Place the battery into the holder with the terminals down. Feed the battery’s leads through the wire slot at the top of the bracket.
2. Connect the Pigtail
Attach the red and black wires from the supplied pigtail to the matching terminals on the battery using the pre-installed spade connectors. Red goes to red. Black goes to black.
Slide the battery back into position with the connected pigtail fed upward through the bracket’s wire notch.
3. Install the Internal Jack
The internal power jack plugs into the pigtail and mounts to the sidewall of the toilet base using the two provided screws. This becomes your access point for charging.
4. Rewire the Toilet Connector
Remove the standard 3-pin connector from the toilet. Use the included 5-pin connector and insert the battery leads into three of the five slots. All red wires go together; all black wires go together. Pin order does not matter, as long as the colors are grouped.
Close the pins and verify that connections are tight.
Testing and Use
After wiring is complete, press the toilet’s power button. The fan should run, and the motor should activate as usual. This confirms that the battery is installed and operating correctly.
Charging the Battery
The kit includes a NOCO GENIUS 2D charger pre-configured for lithium batteries.
-
Plug in the charger and press the MODE button until the LiFePO₄ (lithium) setting is selected.
-
Connect the charger to the internal jack on the toilet.
-
The LED indicator will show red while charging and green when complete.
-
A slow pulse during charging is normal—it indicates the battery is approaching full.
We recommend charging before use and during periods of inactivity.
Best Practices
-
Always charge using the lithium setting.
-
Disconnect the battery if storing the toilet for an extended period.
-
Check for loose wires during annual maintenance.
-
Charge the battery between trips or if unused for more than 2 weeks.
