How to Use OGO™ Charcoal Filter Pucks
Active charcoal is a magnet for unwanted odors. Our charcoal puck work with our compost toilets systems.
How to Install OGO™ Charcoal Filter Pucks in the ORIGIN Compost Toilet
This quick video walks through two easy ways to install OGO™ Charcoal Filter Pucks in your OGO™ ORIGIN Compost Toilet.
Option 1 – From the Inside (Fan Housing Method)
Unplug the unit, open the bowl, and lift out the fan housing. Drop up to three pucks into the vent bar. Good for full access, but may reduce airflow.
Option 2 – From the Outside (Preferred Method)
Keep the bowl sealed. Simply slide a puck into the vent opening from the outside. Add more if needed. Easier to change and manage long-term.
Charcoal pucks are effective for odor control, but can slightly restrict airflow. If needed, upgrade with our High CFM Fan Kit for better ventilation.
